jon came straight out of the womb addicted to drawing and expressing himself creatively and has yet to find a way to break that addiction. for over half of his life span, jon has been experimenting with art and video on the computer. some of his first childhood multi-media experiments consisted of shooting hours worth of short stop-motion animations with action figures on his dad's hi-8 sony camcorder and editing them on the family vcr. at the tender age of 12, he began dabbling in 2d and 3d animation software, which eventually lead him to pursue a career in digital art and design.
after graduating top in his class with a bachelors degree in digital arts and animation, he then freelanced for a year doing everything from promotional videos to web sites to next-gen game development to medical animations. some of these freelance jobs have taken him to places around the world such as tokyo, japan; accra, ghana; and nairobi, kenya. he now works full time as the web and multi-media designer for a quickly-growing start-up web design firm - screaming eagle media - in columbus, indiana.
